Glanelle Ivy S. Cea- PRG TEAM PRESIDENT


An active journalist by purpose, a dedicated leader by principle and a concerned environmentalist by ideals- these bespeak of the kind of personalities that lie within the simple image of Tabaco National High School’s Project Rain Gauge (PRG) Team President, Glanelle Ivy S. Cea. Having such a big responsibility as the team’s leader, 15 year-old third year student Ivy manages to develop the value of cooperation, teamwork, unity and dedication in service in their team to manage her group very well and to implement the PRG team’s projects and campaigns easily. Aside from taking the highest position in their PRG Team, she also takes an active part in the Regional Youth for Environment (YES) Organization as the secretary of the group. Using her pen and paper, she also uses their school paper, Ang Tanod, TNHS’s official school publication in Filipino, wherein she takes the role of the Editor-in-Chief, as an instrument in motivating the youth to join in their campaign regarding global warming awareness and disaster preparedness. With her outstanding performances and deeds for Mother Nature and the youth, she was able to bag the 2nd place in the Environmental Heroism Act Contest she participated in the 9th National YES Summer Camp in Baguio City this 2011. She isn’t only a good influence in her eco-friendly deeds but also with the achievements she had accomplished in her academic degree as part of the cream of the crop of their prestigious institution.

Leonides Tim Cruel- PRG TEAM VICE PRESIDENT


Persistent. Resilient. Gallant.- words that bespeak of the personality of the Tabaco National High School’s Project Rain Gauge vice president, Leonides Tim C. Cruel V, 14 years of age. Being a journalist of the Vanguard, the official English publication of TNHS, Tim takes a crucial role in writing articles with certain topics about the environment. He is also a part of the Federated Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O). In their Biology class, as a part of the Secondary Education Curriculum (SEC), they are having their culminating activity which is the community service.






Bernadette Corral- PRG TEAM SECRETARY




A woman of beauty and grace, this reflects Bernadette Fatima Corral, a IV-1 student of Tabaco National High School. She is noted for being active in several school organizations as well as in her academic performance.












Nicole Marie Balderama- PRG TEAM ASST. SECRETARY


Blessed with a name, Nicole Marie M. Balderama as she first saw the world’s beauty on May 4,1998 at Bicol Regional Hospital in Legazpi City by her very proud parents. Grown up in a neutral family with a loving brother and nurtured by her ever hands on Mom and Dad made her a down to earth individual, disciplined, stronger and much determined in attaining goal in life.
Her sweet smile symbolizes of a real determined young scientist courageous enough pursuing her goal. According to her, I love what I’m doing, I enjoyed and I believe I can. Her optimism and positive thinking attitude is quite seen in her.
Recently she keeps busy in her studies and participated in different school clubs because she believes that every year must be a fruitful one. She holds responsible in keeping records as PRG Assistant Secretary and YES-O Secretary. Holding several position in different clubs such as Supreme Student Government, KAFIL, UNESCO Club, GEM Club, and SMEP Club sounds tiring and difficult. She participated in various contest such as the National YES Camp in Baguio City and won 1st runner up in the Sayawit competition.


FELIX JAMES PACIS- PRG TEAM TREASURER



Small yet terrible when it comes to leadership and sports. Felix is one of the most active  II - I students of Tabaco National High School. He is also part of different school organizations and takes a good stand in his academics. 










JEDAH AVERILLA- PRG TEAM AUDITOR 
Jedah is one of the IV-Einstein students who reflects optimism, industry and hard work in everything she does making her standout in their class because of her good academic standing and active participation in different co-curricular activities.

Simple yet behind him hides a great man. Courageous but knows whe to control his words and actions.A man who acts not for a self-centered reward but a man who acts for everyones benefit. 'He is John Jeg Escandor.


A FOURTH YEAR STUDENT, YES-O officer and TNHS PRG TEAM PIO and also an Officer in SMEP but never fails to have his time for fun. An Athlete and a good friend to everyone.He participated in various contest such as the National YES Camp in Baguio City and won 1st runner up in the Sayawit competition.


LUTH JERELE CARDANO- AMBASSADRESS

A woman of beauty, grace and intelligence. This speaks of the simple yet charming Ambassadress of Tabaco National High School's PRG Team, Luth Jerele Cardano who tirelessly shows her passion in participating in several co-curricular activities. 








MR. RONALDO C. REYES- PRG TEAM ADVISER



Mr. Ronaldo C. Reyes is the PRG Team adviser and at the same time the Science Club adviser of Tabaco National High School.  As the adviser, he initiates different environmental and scientific activities and promotes the importance of rainfall monitoring.  He reaches out to his community by initiating various projects that extend his scholarly duties beyond the four corners of the classroom, such as, but not limited to, coastal cleaning, river and canal clean-up, clean and green project, tree planting and growing, symposia and awareness campaign on global warming and climate change, 3 R’s campaign, proper waste segregation and of disaster preparedness using the rain gauge.

He also implements the “Big Brother Gift of Knowledge in Science” Program where the officers provide science tutorials to academically- challenged high school students during free time. As the Division YES- O adviser, he organizes the Division YES camps, participating even in the regional and national YES camps. Because of his exemplary leadership as the YES- O adviser, he received the national YES- O award last May 2011.
Aside from being an adviser, he is also an international research presenter, an instructional material developer, officer of other professional organizations, a winning coach in different academic and environmental contests, and a resource speaker on global warming and climate change.  He is one of the resource speakers during the Asia- Pacific Youth Forum on Climate Change held at Bangkok, Thailand.
He was also hailed as outstanding teacher of Tabaco City Division and the province of Albay. He is a recipient of the International Federation of Asian Chemical Society (FACS) award held on September 8, 2010 at Taipei, Taiwan.
Recently, he was awarded as the one of the Most Outstanding Science Club Adviser of the Philippines.
